Course Introduction:
Frequently, Managers of departments and sections find themselves with financial responsibilities and authorities but they have no formal training in Financial Management. To be an effective Manager and make a major contribution to the strategic development and tactical efficiency of their organisations, Managers need a thorough understanding of the concepts and techniques used in financial evaluation and management.
This course makes no assumptions about accounting knowledge, but it will introduce participants to key Financial Statements, the role of Management Accounting information in decision making and the role of Budgeting in the Planning, Cost Management and Cost Reduction Process.
